هذا متن مختصـر في علم النحو، وهو اختصار "المفصـل"، وبمثابة التوطئة له؛ حتى يسهل على الطلاب الولوج إلى المُفَصَّل في النحو. أسلوب الكتاب بسيط للمبتدئين، فلـم یستشـهد فیـه المصنف بشـعر، وإ نما يورد قليل المثال، وهو أيضا لا یعـزو رأیًا لقائله، ولا یتعرض للخلافات النحویة، كما هو معهود في كتب المبتدئين. والكتاب مع سلاسته مستوعب لأبواب النحو، وقد حظي "الأنموذج" باهتمام كبیر وعنایة فائقة؛ إذ عكف النحاة على دراسته وشرحه والتعلیق علیه.

Summary

This is an extracted summary from al-Mufaṣṣal by al-Zamaḫšarī himself. He writes it as a simple brief introduction for a new student of Arabic grammar. Based upon this, the book only sets few examples, however, it neither include poetic evidence, nor grammatical debates. The author also does not make reference to the quoted views mentioned therein. Despite being a summary, the text covers all grammatical categories. Much attention is paid to the text by grammarians, hence, they spend time on its studying, explaining, and commenting.
